Beautiful 300SL (1989) with full MB service history: bodywork good: floor and bulkhead decayed
Beautiful and cherished Diamond Blue 107 SL (1989) with full MB service history; maintained regardless of cost. One owner since 1993. Bodywork good and rust free, hard top good (rust free), seats re-covered in leather two years ago. It has recently had multiple new parts including a complete new door (which is apparently no longer available from the Mercedes spares department; they said this was the last one in stock). The engine is excellent, but alas the floor and bulkhead have decayed beyond economic repair by a professional (so says our local welder, and also the SL shop). The car thus either needs an enthusiast to rebuild it, or someone to use its parts as an excellent source of transplants both of body panels and of engine components. It has a few weeks left on its MoT. It is sitting in a garage in West Sussex near Midhurst.
