When we got married, in 1987, the Mercedes SL was the car we always promised ourselves and whilst it took us 30 years before we managed to acquire this one, in 2017, we have absolutely loved it. Sadly, as life moves on its time to let it go to a new home as we are now about to commence a building project and need the space (and the money will come in handy). We looked for some time before we plumped for this vehicle which came from a classic car dealer as the car is in fantastic condition for its age, is so pretty, drives superbly and the history was so, so good. The exterior is finished in metallic diamond blue with a navy mohair folding hood and the interior has blue check seats, blue carpets and a walnut dash. The original first aid kit, fire extinguisher and tools are still in the vehicle and a Pioneer radio with 6 cd changer provide entertainment. The original hard top is with the vehicle and we have a tailored car cover. During our ownership she has always been garaged. She drives beautifully and with the stainless steel exhaust sounds pretty awesome too.
